is it weird that i’m starting to like uncircumcised penises?
Not weird at all! It’s just a penis that wasn’t modified, after all.

I have a right to be upset at my parents for allowing me to be circumcised. This is my body and they made a decision to have it altered without my consent or without being fully informed themselves. They have taken away my free will and autonomy over my own body.
Respect works both ways, not just resect your parents/elders like is drummed into you when you are younger. Eventually people grow up, become informed themselves, and the “We are your parents” excuse for everything, will no longer be good enough.
So it turns out I’m an “intactivist”…
And let’s not kid ourselves, circumcision became popularized in North America as a means to “cure the habit” of male masturbation. It was believed that circumcised penises detracted from the pleasure of masturbation and thus little boys wouldn’t spend so much time playing with themselves. And it obviously worked since the circumcised men among us never masturbate, right? That’s what I thought.
Regardless of the reasons people choose to have their infants circumcised, the bottom line is that this is an issue of bodily autonomy. Circumcision, as a procedure, is a choice that should be available to all penis-having adults, but deciding on behalf of a child what should be done with their genitals is powerful decision that should not be made by anyone but the person who has to live with the consequences.
Even when it comes to babies, the feminist motto “my body, my choice” still stands.
I have recently discovered that circumcision is in fact reversible.
Although it takes years to achieve without surgery, and the surgery— more often than not, gives unsatisfactory to dangerous results.

You know what would be even easier, though?
Giving men the fucking choice to be circumcised.

Even if it was done to you, that does not mean you should do it to someone else. End the cycle.
